Candystripe Productions offer tailor made workshops for people of any age.
Recently we worked with Connexions (Information & Advice for young people) to give young people aged 16-19 a taste for a career in the media industry.
This involved 2 hours of hands-on basic camera operating, writing a script, producing a short film, watching it back and commenting on different angles etc.
It is a great way of introducing a variety of career opportunities and also lots of fun!

Today, the vast majority of primetime television shows, feature films, commercials, and chart-topping pop music hits are made using one or more Avid products.
Hi-Definition Z1 Cameras
Standard definition television is shot using 625 lines (576 viewable) where Hi Definition on the other hand delivers a maximum of 1080 lines of viewable information (1125 TV lines) . This basically means that there is a considerable improvement in the resolution and detail in the picture. The process is enhanced further by using HD or film prime lenses on the camera.
Camcorder Headrest Mount
The headrest mount enables the camcorder to be mounted onto a car's headrest. You get a great view from the drivers perspective or it can be used to video inside the vehicle.
Double Suction Mounts
The Double Suction Mount is ideal for mounting a camera either outside or inside a vehicle, or on glass windows, or any flat non-porous surface
Camcrane with Power Head
The CamCrane's length is 3 metres from tripod to camcorder which means the camcorder will go from ground level to almost 16ft (4.8m) high and you can pan the crane 360 degrees.
Tripod Tracking Dolly enables you to create super smooth tracking shots.
